Today I lubricated my cube for the first time and then i went to solving and found my cube turns extremely fast and turns unwanted sides and i wasn't used to it any ways to get used to it or slow it down just a little

and if i put this is the wrong area please tell me.

Hmm.. cooking oil works better than using nothing, I guess, but if you have the time and/or money, go get a can of Jig-A-Loo, or CRC.
Shock oil is also good. I see you live in canada, so Jig-a-loo should be easy to get at canadian tire. But these are just common things to get. There's also Lubix and Maru Lube available to buy online. These are great products aswell, but if I were you, I'd just stick with Jig-A-Loo.

Never though of canadian tire not as i go there much

well i just used cooking spray as a test, but ill use jig a loo when i get get speedcube
