Lubing the Cube

When I lube my cube it's really really great... until it pops. After just one pop the cube gets really stiff so I have to lube it again. I heard that some cubers lube their cubes like ones every 3 months and I'm lubing my cube at least once a week. Is the problem in my lube or in the cube or in my mind?

I guess your mind...

The feeling you get the first second after lubing it, is "flying" away after three days. But the cube is still good to use. I myself popped too after using the cubelube, but I didn't feel any differences.

Use the straw from the spray silicone. Get it inbetween the pieces, and spray briefly.

Or you could get an Eastsheen. My Eastsheen has never needed lube!

I have tried it.. The smell isn't the best in the world
