lubing the cube

i bought some sillicone spray to lube my cube, and it works well. how often should i lube my cube? and when i move it slowly, why does it get stuck in slow increments? like it won't go smoothly when i move a face kinda slowly, but it would move if like there was a sticky substance inside

It turns like that when you lube it but it will wear off after using it some more. I lube my cube whenever I feel im slowing down a lot with turning the cube.

that's strange, since i see a lot of youtube videos where people move it slowly to show an alg, and it looks really smooth, even though it's lubed
