Lining up the cube

Alright, so I am using various methods, sometimes I use roux block building to get the first two layers and sometimes I use Fridrich, but I always finish with Fridrich for the last layer. I know finger tricks and I can turn the cube very fast, but the biggest problem is that I constantly get the cube jammed because it's not lined up and waste away a few second, resulting in +10 to +15 seconds to my final solve. I was wondering if anyone knew some simple methods to keeping the cube lined up when doing algorithms really fast.
Thanks in advance

Get a different kind of cube that doesn't lock up. I like Type Fs. Also, just try going slower and being more careful about lining it up. it might end up saving you time.

What do you mean by Type Fs? Really the only brands of cube I know of is V Cube and Rubik's, so I have no idea where to get a proper cube that doesn't lockup

They have many types of DIY 3x3s (do-it-yourself, so you might have to assemble it). It's not really a brand, but rather a whole bunch of different designs that are produced by factories in China. There is no real answer to which type of DIY is the best - different very fast people prefer different types - so I would advise just getting any type that you have heard someone recommend. For all DIYs you can adjust the tension, so you can set it loose if you like it loose or tight if you prefer it that way, and they will pretty much always turn great out of the box.

Thanks so much qqwref, I am checking out the site now I will probably buy something

^what he said =D

I agree with the slow turning bit. Most of my locks are when I have a really fast PLL but I have turning inaccuracies and the blocks catch.
There really isn't a "Method" that you can use to stop locks. you can get a better cube or practice.
