Hello to everybody.
I have been thinking about changing my color scheme to the japanese one. I am daltonic (i cannot distinguish very well red and green). One alternative I had was ordering fluorescent green sticker from cubesmith, but then I tought that changing my color scheme to the japanese one may work as well. I do a blue cross, and my principal problem is at the OLL cause sometimes I see red as green and therefore have an impossible OLL.
If I changed to the JCS then I would have white opposite blue, and everything would be easier.
Have you tried this idea?
What are the results?
Thanks,

This seems too obvious for you not to have thought about it, but have you considered just not using green stickers? Instead you could use black or purple or something. This would take time to get used to, but unless I missed something, this should help.

Yes I have thought about it.... but the problem is that I do not usually order at cubesmith and I don't like ordering single stickers (I mean I actually prefer to buy the whole kit). So I was wondering what could I do with a classic kit of stickers.

wouldn't you get problems with the green/red pair?

can you distinguish them separately? I mean, looking at only one sticker, can you tell wether it's red or green?
if so, maybe the solution would be to have green and rep opposite to each other

yes i can teel the difference between green and red separatedly, but not on the fly. I will change my color scheme on my secondary cbe and see how it worked.

Or, you can just get over you're dislike for ordering single colours and order a single colour that you can see properly.

That seems FAR easier to me than doing something like a colour scheme change.
