I finally put in the time to convert my simulator IsoCubeSim into a supercube simulator. As with normal Iso, it supports cuboids as well, and allows you to try puzzles as big as you want. You can download it from my Iso home page (near the bottom).

Well, enjoy :)

My best times so far (only did a couple of tries for each):
3x3 - 28
4x4 - 1:14
5x5 - 2:34
6x6 - 5:22
7x7 - 7:59

Ah, yeah, the controls.
- Press + to increase the cube size on all axes, and - to decrease. The little white squares will increase or decrease the size of just one axis.
- Press s to scramble and r to restore. (The time will only go green if you actually solve it from a scrambled position.) A shift+s will do a scramble with only half turns.
- Hold shift while doing a turn to do a half turn (normally a drag will do a quarter turn, but if a quarter turn is impossible without changing the shape of the cube it will do a half turn anyway). Hold ctrl while doing a turn to do a cube rotation (this is normally 90 degrees even on cuboids). The shift+ctrl combination will do a 180-degree cube rotation.

Sorry about all the stuff in the menu, most of that won't do anything at all.

i only got unexecutable files like *.class and *.mf
but i need a *.jar to run it. am i doing sth wrong?

The file is .jar but (and I don't know why) some computers decide to treat it as an archive file (like .zip or .rar) and show you the files inside. If that happens try to "save as" onto your desktop or something, instead of opening it directly, and then double-clicking on the file should run it.

You shouldn't extract it. You should run the archive directly.

The problem with writing a neat program in java is that everyone wants you troubleshoot their java.

I don't know why some people's browsers insist on renaming the .jar file to .zip; it's not intended to be extracted. (It's supposed to save as a .jar and then start the program when you double-click it.) I've had this problem before. Maybe I should start putting the .jar file in its own .zip - it would be a bit silly, but then people probably wouldn't have that problem.
