HELLO

A truncated history in case you're interested:
Decided to learn the cube, watched a video, learned the cube, proud of myself, want to get better.

I've been cubing for about three weeks and my best time for a 3x3x3 is 51.xx seconds, but average closer to a full minute. I'm really enjoying learning this skill and truly admire the talent of speedcubers. I wish to be among your ranks one day.

My question is a simple permutation (meaning a specific arrangement of the cubies, right? I'm still learning the vocabulary...) question.

I come across this occasionally and the cuber's intuition I've been developing is telling me that there must be a simpler solution than what I'm doing. I've created a graphic to help explain:

All not-visible faces are solved, by the way ('cept the one with lil orangie).

The point I'm at is one where I just follow through with the steps on this page (the 2-look PLL section) but I always feel like it's excessive for the situation. I've tried figuring it out for myself but I remain bewildered.

I did search briefly to find what I'm looking for but I really don't know how I would describe this situation without an image or how to find it. Hopefully I've come to the right spot.
