Until my 7yo son asked me to buy him one and promptly scrambled it.
I couldn’t stand the sight of all those colors mixed up and I learnt the layers method to solve it.
Now I’m teaching myself F2L in the most intuitive way cause I have no brain left to learn all those algs lol.
I’ve never timed my solves (I’m scared lmao) but atm I’m more interested in the process of solving the cube than in the time needed. I’m planning to learn some more OLL and PLL algs ‘cause they are just fascinating
My boy was caught too, and he is getting proficient with the layers method. I hope he will keep on practicing and upgrade to other methods in the future.
Well, that’s all. It’s nice to be around and sorry for my English but it’s not my native language.

Nice, welcome! F2L should be intuitive anyway, so unless you have real difficulty figuring out how to do a case, you can search the algorithm up. Try learning some easy to remember and short OLLs and PLLs first, then move on to the harder cases.

Also, you should time yourself now! It will be cool to see how much you have improved looking back later.
