at first, i hated the fangshi guangying, but now i have done a few simple mods......... its great!
step1: change springs to tougher heavier springs, i tried gans 356 replacement springs (came in 3 gauges) but they didnt fit properly so im sure you can find some that fit.. this helped get rid of that loose feeling and greatly improve corner cutting (cuts over 45 now).
step 2: cotton mod, simply just place some cotton wool inside the caps. this really quietens the cube down.
step 3: VASELINE!!! this helped soo much with slowing the cube down, and before you say it will ruin my cube, i dont care. this made the cube realy smooth.
i also added some weight 2 to overlube.
this made the cube controllably fast and super smooth and also very quiet, even more so than my aolong v2 and weilong.
if you only want to do 1 mod then the spring replacement is the best option if you dont mind the loudness.
you may also want to glue all the caps down as they fall out frequently.
