Hey. I've just reached sub 20 with 2 look oll and 2 look pll. I average about 9 - 12 seconds f2l( haven't individually timed cross) and 2-4 oll.(i HATE oll) and about 1-3 seconds pll. I do cross on top though i'm starting to do it on bottom. I don't really like learning algs cause i'm lazy. What would be the best way to improve?

It starts with a P and ends with an E. It also rhymes with cactus.
Give up? It's practice.

You literally answered your own question:

1. Individually time your cross. Only then can you get a real idea of how each step looks. If your cross turns out to be 4 or 5 seconds, work on the cross. F2L will come with time (aka practice).
2. You hate OLL. Try working on it! Even with 2-look, it can be sub-2.
3. Just practice cross on bottom! You could have an entire session devoted to cross if you want :)
4. You don't like learning algs....'cuz your lazy. Just don't be lazy! That statement's comparable to "It hurts when I slap myself." Just don't slap yourself...

Agreed entirely.

Getting your cross timed and seeing if you need to improve that would be a good start, as would learning at least full PLL. You don't need to learn full OLL but practicing the algs and recognition of the ones you already know sounds like a good idea :).

What if I hate practice and want to be faster right away?

Then you need to either change your views on practicing or become happy with your current time. With a 4lll, you really can't go extraordinarily fast. I have seen people do sub 15's, but that is only when they get a 1loll and a 1lpll. Honestly, just try to learn pll, if you can be sub 20 with 4lll you could be sub 17 at least with 3lll.

Or he could improve his F2L xD Everyone forgets F2L is no different than OLL and PLL xD xD

If someone is sub-20, I think learning 1 look PLL would be better than improving on their F2L. 21 algorithms isn't that much to learn for the seconds it sheds off your time.

god dammit, this is a simple questions when is this thread going to be closed.....they're many answers you could have answered on your own.

to all of those here are your answers:

1.practice
2.Practice
3.PRACTICE
4. learn fullstep
5. More practice

To this I say GRRRRRR

And to to cuberzeroer, I would suggest using corner tracking and finding your first f2l pair while doing the cross/ possibly practicing extended cross if you don't want to learn full step. These things can shave a second or two, but if you want to improve more dramatically you should learn fullstep. If you can do a 3 second 2lpll then you should be able to get all of your plls sub 2 easy with some practice.
