I got one for my girlfriend, and it came apart.

From what I could see (I was driving, so it wasn't much), it has some clear-plastic pieces on the inside, something that looks like a core and a piece attached to it (with a screw). Doesn't seem to have springs.

I don't have it right now, but if anyone has a guide or whatever, it would be a great help.

thanks

Nobody?
I tried it yesterday, and it has some "internal edges", as I said (the clear pieces). But they somehow fit into the big pieces, making it "impossible" to put the last piece in. I could either put everything but a big corner or everything but an internal edge (which doesn't work too, because you can't turn it or it will come apart).

The problem is that you have to attach the last piece into 3 different axis at once, which seems pretty impossible right now.

thanks again

I had this problem with my Rubik's brand. You just need to press the last piece down really, really hard.

Yes, it looks the same as the Rubik's mech.
If it's not gonna break, I'll give it a try.

The penguin 2x2 turns horribly bad, much worse than my Rubik's 2x2. I think the pieces catch too much on the inside. Will lube help at all?

dude, no freaking way to get it in O_o

I applied a lot of force, even lubed to try to make the pieces slide better, but I can't put that last piece...

I even made the plastic bend a bit: (pointed with the arrow)

It's easy with a Rubik's 2x2 because the corner is all hollow, but the penguin's pieces are all closed.

You have to kind of angle the pieces so that it slides in sort of. Extremely hard to explain, but when putting the last piece in, turn the sides so it isn't perfectly lined up and try to slide it in.

I got it! Turned the top layer 45 degrees and kinda twisted the piece while pressing down. You're right, really hard to explain, but it works

Thanks to everybody.
