I've just recently learned to visualize my fisher cube as a 3x3, and have gotten f2l done and my yellow cross, but I've run into y-perm and can't really figure out how to initiate it.

The reason why I'm confused is that the angle is shifted, so you don't turn the sides like a regular 3x3. How would I hold a fisher cube to initiate y-perm?

Sorry for the noob question. If you need pictures I can post some (I think, don't know the rules for that here).

so if i perform t-perm it will execute the same way as a y-perm?

I still don't know which faces to hold which way, because the centers are on the corner of the cube.
