How do you make a teraminx smooth?

I have bought a teraminx off Popbuying and they said it was a MHZ (C4U)
I was wondering if theres any simple tricks to make it smoother.
At the moment it doesn't turn very well at all. I have tried tightning all the screws and hasn't made much of a difference.

Any and all help would be apperciated.

i hear tossing sand in em can make em better, but then again i wouldnt ever do that to a $100+ puzzle

PestVic's break-in method always works. Grinds out the locks and makes it smoother.
