How do you become a WCA Delegate?

Do you have to be appointed by Tyson / Ron??
Is there some screening process?
Do you have to solve in xx.xx speed?
Do you have to sign up somewhere?

Are there interviews involved?
I dunno, with one WCA delegate in Canada it seems a little saddening that there aren't more (like the US... holy crap!!!).

Delegateship is assigned to responsible people when necessary. Only one in Canada is not an issue, unless there is a chance of a competition happening where the Canadian delegate can't make it.
In that case, a USA delegate would come, or a reliable Canadian would be appointed delegate (else the competition is probably not significant enough to warrant official status).
