I have had my v-cubes for a few months now, and they both turn better than my eastheen and rubiks 5x5's, but, even with lube and A LOT of breaking in (and shaving down the corner stalks), they seem to still be somewhat tight. I switched the cores and that made one faster and one slower :\, and the rivets are redundant. So, I was just curious as to how to make my v-cube's faster :) Thanks!!

Ever try READING MY POST? :P *sigh* "I have had my v-cubes for a few months now... but, even with lube and A LOT of breaking in..." :D

I know Dan Cohen said he uses RC car shock oil as lube in his cube collection video, so should I choose regular car shock oil or the RC car shock oil? If so on the RC car shock oil, where could I find this? Thanks :)

Do they actually sell regular shock oil in auto shops? I don't think I've ever seen it, but I've never looked. I always thought shock oil was just for RC cars.

anyway, I got mine at a hobby/model shop. Do a google map search for "hobby" or "model" and you should find some RC shops around you. Call before you go though, I found a few places that don't carry it anymore because it isn't a very popular product (at least around here). If you have too much trouble finding it, you can always buy some online. I'd give a link, but the only one I have saved isn't loading right now and I'm too lazy to search around.

(and shaving down the corner stalks)
Stalks or bases? I've never heard of doing the stalks. Is that just to try to make it more loose?

And by the way, did you know that you don't have to make two posts but in the bottom right of your posts there is an edit feature where you can edit your post!
