No one knows me so I'll post anyway.
Hi everyone. Nice to meet you all. My name is Steven. I can solve the megaminx, pyraminx, 2x2x2 to 7x7x7, but I am most interested in 3x3x3. My 3x3x3 PB average of 12 is 13.14s and my lucky PB solve is 9.09s.
My other interests are games, programming, technology, handball, basketball, anime, penspinning... If you pros have any tips for me, please let me know. Yoroshiku.

I have been cubing for about 7 years now. For the first four years of cubing, I only used the Rubik's brand cube, which probably limited my speed a lot. I never had that much money for cubes unlike you rich mothasuckas out there. I started cubing when I was a freshman in high school, which was around late 2008. I think it took me about 5 days to remember the layer by layer method. Then I started watching more speedcubing videos on YouTube and started learning CFOP. I think it took me 5-6 months to remember all the OLLs and PLLs. I got down to around 20 second average in 3/4 to a whole year. I kept trying to get faster, but it seemed like my limit was capped around 16-18 second average so I lost interest and ceased cubing for about a year or two.
In 2012, I finally got a debit card and bought myself a Dayan Zhanchi. This cube blew my mind. It became my main immediately; forget the Rubik's brand. My average lowered by 1-2 seconds.... Then again, it seemed like my average was capped at 15 seconds so I lost motivation again and ceased for another year.
In 2013 or so, I bought the Fangshi Shuang Ren and it made me cube for a few months. Lost interest again and stopped for another year.
Now I am back. A few months ago in October 2015, I bought a Moyu TangLong. Trying to lower my average to 10 seconds consistently. But it ain't working out right now. Just trying to buy more cubes to see which one fits me the best and brings out my maximum potential...
TL;DR: I cubed since late 2008; used the terrible Rubik's brand cube for 4 years; quit and came back many times; and now I average around 13-15 seconds.
