My name is Harald, and I'm from Norway.
I've been cubing for about two weeks, and my average is about 2,5 minutes.
I am using the standard Beginners Method from the instructions that came with the cube.

Hmm, what else...let's see, I am 29, got two kids (Adrian Atari, soon 6, and Sander, 8 months), married for four years, interessted in music (both making and listening) and computers. Oh, and hobbies, of course. Like lockpicking, beer, espresso among others.
My wife thinks I spend alot of time on the Mac, but since it's a Mac and it's nice looking and therefor in our living room instead of the office, she don't mind :D

I currently work as a graphic designer in a small company, dealing mostly with vector graphics, making signs and vinyl logos and stuff for cars (wich is nice now, since I've got hundreds of different replacement stickers for my cube if I want to, hehe)

That's about it I guess...

:)

Hello n5k!!!! Since your average is 2,5 you'll be having PBs every day!!!
I like that you have lockpicking as a hobby! It sounds interesting....

Hi there, welcome !

We have some things in common, I'm also a bit older than most of the whippersnappers on here at 28 (no kids tho) I also like coffee and beer, I know how to pick locks, I've made my own pick and wrench, but I might buy a cheap set at some point (they sell really cheap kits on dealextreme) and I really like music (play the keyboard and guitar). Atari is a cool name too.

I remember when I started cubing not long ago I was getting new records every day, it was great !

Yay, more norwegian cubers!
Are you coming to Trondheim for the Norwegian Open 2009 (february the 14th)?

Also, Kristoffer and I have been trying to make a good cube-site for norwegians. I'd really appreciate it if you stop by nor-speedcubing and tell me what you think :)

I think it's fantastic, except from that this sentence shows up all the time: Dette webområdet kan ikke vises i Internet Explorer:((this webpage can't show itself on internet explorer).

No, I wasn't aware of the Norwegian Open. Maybe next year or something.
Nice site you've got there. Allthough you should have an easier domain - sadly rubiks.no is taken (and used for ********). If you're gonna register, I recommend golarge.no. They're cheap and I use them for most of my domains. Comes with MySQL also, so you could put up a norwegian forum maybe.
If you need any help with the site, send me a PM - I've been doing webdesign a couple of years, including webshops and forums :)

ALSO - UPDATE:
Got my first sub-60 now :) 0:59.85 :D Happy day! hehe

Congrats on the new PB, and welcome to the forums.

Make sure you don't cube TOO much -- you have a family!! (Me, well, I'm lazy and not even in university left, might as well screw around while I can. :D)

And good luck in cubing; if it feels frustrating just work at it, it will all come.

NOW GO BREAK SUB-30! :D
