Hi! I started speedcubing three months ago. I just got a new pb of 28.82! I also like yoyoing!

Welcome to the cubing community! Do you do any other puzzles beside 3x3? What cube and method do you use?
Welcome to the land of geometrical shapes known as cubes.
I would not really recommend going with a Zhanchi at your speed. They are meant for extrememly fast cubers which is why they are so smooth and can be rather uncontrollable. I would recommend a Fangshi Shuangren, since it almost never pops (if it does) and is easy to control.
Do you plan on going to any competitions? If so, where? There are many coming up in 2014.
Whatever you do don't get a Weilong 'till at least sub-20.
Please don't listen to the people telling you that good cubes are "too advanced" for you. That's terrible advice - using a bad cube for a long time will only cause you to pick up bad habits which you will later have to unlearn. Obviously you don't have to get a new cube if you don't want to, but don't put it off just because you're "not fast enough".
Welcome! Ah... friend of kclejeune... must be from the yoyoing...
Yeah hahaha I'm slowly converting the world
For Christmas, I got a CX3 and a WeiLong. The CX3 was DIY, so I lubed the core with Maru's lube for the core (I can't think of a better way of saying thatNo but I'm saying the weilong in particular. It will be far too fast.
I just won a GuHong!! I think I'll buy a ZhanChi.For Christmas, I got a CX3 and a WeiLong. The CX3 was DIY, so I lubed the core with Maru's lube for the core (I can't think of a better way of saying that) and I lubed the pieces of both with normal Maru. Interestingly, although the CX3 is faster than the WeiLong, it's also a lot more controllable. I find it difficult to use the WeiLong, but not the CX3.
Although for someone their speed, I'd say get an Aurora, GuHong v2 or a ZhanChi. Probably an Aurora because it's cheaper.
