i'm udit , a speedcuber from india . i've been on this forum for a few weeks now, and i've posted a lot but i never got the chance to introduce myself properly.
i started cubing in aug 2012, and now i average 14. i know intuitive f2l , half oll and 19 pll's . i've been focusing on pll's a lot right now cuz i didnt know g perms.
i'm keen to get faster now, and am lookin forward to the delhi summer open 2013 on 21 june. here is my puzzle list:
DaYan ZhanChi V5 3x3 - a white and a stickerless
DaYan GuHong V2 - a black one , diy
A local cube, but that's as good as a shengshou ( i even think it's better than that , the company is yongjun )
A rubiks brand cube
a mf8 4x4
a shengshou 5x5
a vcube 7x7
a dayan megaminx ( without ridges)
a calvin's square 1
2 shengshou pyraminxes
a rubiks 2x2, a wittwo 2x2 and a dayan 2x2
and a shenshou mirror block
here are my pb's and averages of 100:
3x3- pb 7.94 avg 13.92
2x2- pb 1.97 avg 3.96
4x4 pb 32.54 avg 42.74
5x5 pb 1:25.xy avg 1:53.xy
7x7 pb 5:07.xy avg 5:57.xy
megaminx pb 1:04.xy avg 1:12.xy
pyraminx pb 3.57 avg 6.29
square 1 pb 40.37 avg 48.xy

i do about 150 solves a day KongShou
i have so many cubes as i'm obsessed and all my birthday and gifts are cubes only ( i insisted people to get me these or just gimme money)
anyway, ilikecubing - you're no. 1 in india in square 1 ! you must be awesome ayush
btw, you suck in megaminx LOL

you know what? the yongjun cube i mentioned has just uncontrollable speed, as per a sub 40 guy.even after many days of practice, he couldn't control the cube's speed.
but on the other hand, it locks a lot so its pretty much useless for me.
can u give me tips for getting sub 10?
should i focus on learning full pll, and then oll or is coll better? ( i know 19 pll's and loads of cross and f2l tricks, i even discovered someof them myself o.O )

The times look pretty interesting, but dont seem believable. 42 seconds ao100 with 4x4 and 1:12 min ao100 with megaminx surely add up to my suspicion. Since you have started only by Aug 2012, it would have taken atleast 4 months of insane practice with mega to achieve the timings. anyway there's a group on facebook for Indian speedcubers, incase you have an account on fb, you can join! PM me and I ll tell you my mail ID and help you add yourself there.

hey bhargav- the thing in nov 2012, i fractured my leg and i had nothing to do for a month- so i was insane in cubing
and practice makes better, so i dd it like- 3 days for insane and extreme practice for megaminx- reduced my time from 5:00 to 3:30
plus, there has been a lot of time past that month.........
and 4x4 is my fav cube, so i practice it more than the 3x3.
and i'm not the udit malik on wca's registered competitiors list, i'm udit bhardwaj
( a month's insane practice with no school always helps in the case of cubing )

Dude you know that the figures you are showing here are almost impossible to achieve with only 10 months of cubing!
Also if you are coming to Delhi Summer Open 2013 you can break all the Indian National records!!
Are you coming?
