Hey my name is Matthew and I come from Austria
I'm have been cubing for nearly a year now and I still like it.
Most of the time i was cubing with my Zhachi 3x3 and my times are around 11,5. Last weekend I failed totally at an austrian competition, because I was so nervous. It was my 2nd competition and the average was about 13,xy seconds, first place was around 12,1x, so i was very sad, because if my average would have been a little bit better, i could have been the best. But there is still enough time to win a competition xD
the biggest problem at 3x3 is my last layer, because it is about 5-6s. my f2l is sub 8 everytime, and every 3rd solve it ist sub 7....
Sorry for my bad writting, but i'm still learning English :)

Hello Matthew and welcome to the forums. Wow, that's some really fast progress there, Matt. Sub-12 in under one year, very impressive. We can expect great things from you in the future. I think you will be breaking world records in a year or two. ;)

I was cubing a lot this year, but not too much, at the beginning, about 100 solves a day, and now, 150-200, but there were some pauses, with only 10-20 solves. Last month I did 333 solves for 2 weeks, but then I went on holiday, so i couldn't finish the cube marathon xD
avg 5: 10,04
avg 12: 10,66
avg 50: 11,43
Now I try to break in my lubix fusion, it's very bad now, but I think it could be my main cube, the problem are this annoying lock ups, but it never pops. My Zhanchi has done about 30 000 solves, it has modded centers and the edges look like, if they would have melt together..., but it pops and is very slow...
4x4 sub 1
5x5 sub 2
6x6 sub 4
7x7 sub 7
3x3 OH: ~22,8s
please ask me if there are questions :)
