Hey speedsolvers, i'm Michael. I can solve a rubik cube using both the layers method (one min 10 sec.) and I recently learned the f2l fredirich method (55-1. Min).My 3 by 3 Record is 43 seconds. I can also solve the 4 by 4 and 5 by five, but I can't speed solve them . I live in Texas, and used to be a strong competitive chess player, about 4th or 5th in texas, and 11th in the us. I stopped playing recenty and
the cube has been my new challange, although I hope very much to take up chess again. I've never been to a competition, and unfortunatly I was out of town during the first near by competiion, the Dallas open. I'm also enjoy working on animations using pivot and flash (programs) but I'm not particularly good at them. I joined soeedcubing because I want to decrease my time to around thirty seconds, and get a feel for what the rubik community is like. I'm gonna go check out the forum now. Bye.
