Had my 4x4 24 hours = broken

My Rubik's Cube came from rubiks.com I had it less than 24 hours and it is broken... I was completing a simple turn with little pressure and "pop" about 6 pieces came out. When inserting them, one broke EASILY... The plastic corners in these cubes are way too easily broken. I am very unhappy. That is the last 4x4 that I will buy from rubiks.com

Anyone else have issues with rubiks.com cubes?

That really sucks. I've had mixed luck with Rubiks.com 4x4x4's. I'd suggest getting another one, luckily with all the parts from 2 4x4x4's you can make one really good one.

I hadn't thought of that. Having a second one of the same brand woud allow for several spare parts I bought another rubiks.com 4x4 off of ebay, and a Eastsheen E4 from cube4you. I keep hearing great things about Eastsheen so I am going to give it a go.

I had just solved it too.. oh well, I noticed that the 3x3 was much easier to solve after taking a break from it and then playing around with the 4x4. Anyway, thanks for the advice, now at least this lemon cube can be used for spares.
