I found that the spring on the Guoguan Yuexiao Pro is not very good so I'm wondering if anyone knows a good replacement for it?

The original Yuexiao springs work well. You can see it compared to the Pro version. The Pro, on the left, though shorter, is made of a thicker, stronger gauge wire. The original Yuexiao is a thinner gauge.

Or any lighter spring works well.

Would the MF3RS spring work? Have you given it a try?

I did the spring swap with the yuexiao springs in the yuexiao pro, and it's pretty good. I'm not sure it's better, just a little different. The pro springs are pretty good in the original yuexiao too

The designer of Yuexiao actually suggested using the springs in the original Yuexiao (he posted in Baidu Tieba, the Chinese forum for speedcubers). I find that work pretty well for me. It is slightly softer and helps with reverse cutting and lockups.
