Hello speed solving community!
I have rediscovered my passion for Rubik's Cubes
Haven't been this excited since my middle school days!
I suppose it's because my friend showed me his new Dayan Zhanchi. I had no clue that there were cubes such as this one and researched a bit. Then I found the Fridrich Method and my excitement just escalated from there
Some history?
I bought a Rubik's brand 3x3x3 in middle school and learned how to solve it using the Beginner's Method. My best time would probably be around 54 seconds.
Then I borrowed a friend's 4x4x4 (Rubik's Brand) for several months and learned how to solve that! I never really cared about how fast I solved it so I have no clue what my best time is.
After learning how to solve the 4x4x4, I continued on to the 5x5x5. Got a V cube 5 from Verdes and learned how to solve that too! Best time would be around 7 minutes.
I used to have a Rubik's Magic but unfortunately it broke and I have no clue where it is. I also never timed my speed :/
I also learned how to solve a Rubik's twist when I was younger ^.^
That's pretty much my puzzle history XD
Some hobbies..being a boy scout
Camping, hiking, swimming, badminton'ing, other sports XD
my school doesn't offer sports or band so not many hobbies from school but I did enjoy playing the trombone. Played all of middle school; first trombone ^.^
I used to play A.V.A on the PC but I do not play as much as I did last year. Gaming is not much of a hobby; more like an occasional thing now.
Well enough about me
I hope to contribute to this community as well as benefit from the bountiful knowledge that many of you people possess ;D
P.S. Something interesting that my friends from A.V.A told me about my name (XSRage). I suppose you can read XSLube as Excess Lube or Extra Small Lube?
XD
Small digression.
