Hello to everyone in the speedsolving community!
As a child growing up in the 80's, I had a Rubik's cube just like everyone else. I was never able to solve it and it quickly became another addition to the clutter under my bed when I cleaned my room. The one and only time it ever came close to being solved is when my brother took it apart and never put it back together.
Just this last Christmas, I bought a 3x3x3 for my son and he loved it. I say 'loved' because I hijacked his cube and my obsession began. I now have 10 assorted 3x3x3's including the very entertaining Mirror Cube, 3 2x2x2's, 2 4x4x4's, 2 5x5x5's, and I just got a 7x7x7.
It's nice to meet all of you and I look forward to getting to know the community as I've learned a lot from you guys so far.
