Hello to everyone

My name is Brandt, and as you can tell from the title, I'm from Pennsylvania. If I can remember correctly, I started cubing in June of 2011. Some kid in my school was doing a project about the Rubik's Cube, and I started to get interested in it. So a couple days later a went out to walmart and bought myself a Rubik's Cube, and things just went on from there.

I went to my very first competition last week (Levittown), competed in the two events I thought I wouldn't completely fail in (2x2 and 3x3), so naturally I failed in those too. My 3x3 PB is 25.33, and I usually average around 35. 2x2 my PB is 6.61, most the time I average around 8 to 9-ish, I haven't done a 4x4 timed solve in a while, but I do know that I wouldn't have made the cutoff, and pretty much 5x5 and 7x7 I just leisurely solve, so 5 takes me 10 mins and 7 is about 20. I've never touched a 6x6, so I have no idea how bad I'll be at that. I just recently started doing magic solves a little less than a week ago, until I broke my magic. But my PB for that was like 2.98 I think, and averaged 3-4. My whole reason for making an account here was because I didn't really know anyone at the competition, and everyone else seemed to know everyone else, so I thought I should get more involved in the community.

Just a few various puzzles I can solve: Square-1 (i forgot the parity alg though), 3x3x5, pyramorphix, gear mastermorphix, gear cube, and megaminx. There might be a couple others, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

So that's pretty much my cubing story, I'm off to go learn some more 3x3 PLL's! Wish me luck :)
