Going to china.

because i haven't been back to China for almost a year, the info i'm saying may be a bit out of date.

China is veeeeeery big so that it differs significantly in culture, environment, climate, eating habits and everything.

the best place for low price cubes might be Guangzhou in Guangdong Province, where most factories make cubes and export them to Hong Kong and overseas. There also have the most varieties (be careful to KOs).

Shanghai and Beijing are biggest cities so it's also not that difficult to buy cubes in these cities. Monthly meetups in most big cities are easy to find. In summer vacations we may even have meetups once a week in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

The WitEden is located in Guangzhou. C4U is located in Shanghai. You can contact the shop owners if you want to buy a lot of cubes in these cities. Taobao is the biggest online shop where you can find almost every kind of cubes in the world, but you may need to find a local cuber to buy these things for you:P

If you fancy a meetup or require any helps you can directly contact the 7 WCA delegates in China by email. I'm sure they will help you to sort everything out

Not exactly cubes, but get some food too. Some places are very cheap but ridiculously tasty.

Oh yess, and especially the tofu dipped in the speciality soy sause brewed from hair, and topped with chilli powder grinded from red bricks~!~ Mmmmm, tasty!
And don't forget those awesome recycled oil soaked up from the sewage, it has that really rich smell with slight bites, and is the perfect match for most dishes.

Wait, am I wrong in thinking of the phrase "Made in China" usually being a bad thing?

That's a pretty crazy generalization. Most competitive cubers use cubes (especially 3x3) that are made in China.

I wasn't trying to stereotype or anything. Its just slowly become one of the rules of buying in America to hesitate if it says "Made In China".
