1.What is the difference between 'prime' and 'inverted' with notation?

2.What's a good way to start learning F2L (the proper way). I know it, but I was never officially taught it. What's a good, step-by-step place to learn, with all cases?

3.What's a good place to learn OLL and PLL?

4.What are some other methods of solving a cube? (Other than the layer-by-layer methods.)

5.Can somebody give me a general glossary of sort, of cubing terms and phrases, that I will encounter often while on these forums, and while cubing in general?

That's all for now, thanks.

1. Personal preference
Personally, I remember things easier in my head like F R U, RI UI FI (when you say ' like EYE)(for inverse, yes?)

2. Dick around until you find something that works for slotting a pair. If it seems clunky, try jumping things over each other or go from different angles. You'll work out the kinks over time.
One thing I must stress.
LOOKAHEAD. If you can't find your next pair as you're putting the current one in, you need to be going slower. Slow but consistent may _feel_ slower, but will shave critical seconds off your time. DO NOT PAUSE.

3. Kungfumanchoo's guides....Andy Klise..... Good one page OLL/PLL guides. Learn PLL first.

Not including CFOP/Fridrich, which is by far the most popular, the widely used speed methods are Roux, Petrus and ZZ. Of course there are loads of others, but they're not really used as main speed methods.
