First 3x3 solve of the year?

I just want to confirm about me being the first person in the world to solve the Rubik's Cube in 2014. I am saying this just because I want to know if anyone else did a solve after the countdown in my time zone(whatever time zone New Zealand is). I first straight away did a cfop solve then did a zz after.

Edit - you can't find out if you were 1st, only that you weren't.
