Favorite "big cubes" events?

I currently have a 2x2, 3x3, 3x3x5, 4x4, and pyraminx. I am looking into getting bigger cubes like 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 etc. I was thinking about yuxin 5x5 or shengshou 7x7. My question is what is your favorite big cubes event and what would cubes you recommend to someone getting into larger cubes?

I'd start off with the 5x5, and the Yuxin is a very good choice. If you're getting a 6x6 I'd get the Aoshi and for 7x7 the mini Shengshou is good but if you have the money The Cubic Aofu is better from what I hear.
