F2L is getting better for me but not sure where to go from here

Just twisting as fast as I can when I see a pair

Without realizing it I was doing to first one all this time automatically. I learned to force myself to slow down too. Since my goal is sub 20 do you think its safe to stop F2L here and practice other areas or keep working on this.

I am around 4 seconds on the other areas.

dont stop working on this, but i guess u can focus more on other areas, 4sec cross is too long, 4 sec OLL is too long if you do 1 step OLL, i think 4 sec PLL is not bad, if you goal is just to aim for sub 20

yea improve on OLL. do you know all the cases? i recommend using LLtrainer and do around 100 LL solves per day. f2l im still trying to improve, so i cant say much.. my times are roughly the same as yours. i got a 6-7sec LL so i can still manage sub-20.

My last layer average is 13.06. Most of my PLLs I need to change and I didn't know the OLL for those solves. When I said 4 second PLL and OLL the OLL is usually 4 seconds but when there is a G perm it takes me 8 seconds so 8+4=12. Thats how I got that average.

then just finish learn all the PLLs, then continue working on f2l. for oll, u could at least know wad to do for every single case, like know which oll is a combination of a FRUR'U'F' + a sune or sumthing like that.
