I also plan to film a reconstruction of my 24.67 FMC mean as I did for the WR.
Edit: this also puts him just a footstep (pun intended) away from platinum, as all he needs now are feet results.
Or I can just wait for feet to be removed... unless BigBLD means are introduced before then (and I hope they are
).
EDIT: some comments on the solves before I upload the videos.
26.01: if I remember correctly, the scramble was average or slightly worse than that. I am not too disappointed with a low-26 on such a scramble, but my friends told me I had a 3-4 seconds pause at some point. I remember pausing, but I am surprised it was this long.
20.73: good scramble (9 algs?) and I didn't make mistakes. I don't remember anything special about this.
20.06: nice scramble, 3 corner comms and I don't remember how many edge comms (not many!) with one floating. I didn't float in the best way (z' <M,U,R> z instead of <R,E,D>). From what they told me, I had a slow memo (barely sub-9), but I made up with execution.
When I saw the time, I was at first happy that I got another good solve. Then I thought that ER was 20.05 and that I missed it by 0.01 (again), so I was a bit disappointed. Then I realised the mean was 22, but I didn't remember the decimals of the other solves; I checked and I saw I missed it by less than <0.1, so I was again disappointed. But I was also happy that I got a good single and a very good mean. Then they told that ER was 20.07 before my solve
