As the title says

I'll start.
It was my first competition and i was judging my friend. While waiting for his cube to come, he asked if he could try out my Gan 15. I said yes even though it was on loose settings.
Well, he started TPS spamming algs on it. It exploded (literally) and some of the pieces went flying halfway across the hall. Super embarrassing, cuz a lot of people had to stop their events to help clean up the mess. Luckily no magnets fell out and the cube is back in a good state (my main).

Well, my most embarassing cubing moment was right here, yesterday. I was thining about how to make a speedcubing method better than CFOP for weeks, analysed dozens of speedcubing methods for pros and cons, and came to the conclusion that the best potential for a better solution was to take CFOP's cross and use one of the cross' arms as a parking space for en e-layer edge to further increase lookahead and reduce the typical CFOP movement restrictions resulting in fewer moves and / or better ergonomy. To me this seemed reasonable and for all i knew was a new approach for I couldn't find it on method webpages. So I came here, made an account, introduced myself as cube method inventor and postet my idea, named after me - which then was declined by moderation. It turned out it was a common idea after all often proposed but seemingly not very useful in the end. "Here's the new revolutionary twist on the CFOP cross. Let the world know it was me who invented it!" Reply: "Heard this idea a thousand times. Dosn't work out. Stop bragging about something that is neither new nor good". man, THAT is embarassing! I honestly thought it was a new idea, and to me it seemed helpful. And naming stuff after the inventor is a normal naming convention after all. I so totally made a fool out of myself...
