Hi everyone! I’m officially coming back to the United States in 3 weeks, which means I’ll be able to take on some more modding! There are a few things I’d like to inform you all about regarding my business model and the work I will be doing this summer.
Firstly, as many of you are aware there is currently a tariff situation happening in the U.S. with China. This makes buying puzzles from Chinese websites in bulk a bit annoying, as the prices of them have gone up as a result. As a result, the price of my cubes may increase by a few dollars due to the increased price to source them.
Additionally, due to the high volume of orders that I received over the last summer, I am going to be implementing a preorder system. I am currently ordering 20 MGC Square-1s that I plan to modify and sell as my first batch when I return. Therefore, I will only be taking preorders for the first 20 orders. The order form, which can be found at this link, will be closed after I receive 20 responses. If you place a preorder after the 20th order is placed but before I can close the form, you will be informed of that via email and put in line for my next batch that I make. I will almost certainly be doing more than one of these individual order batches over the summer, so be on the lookout for my posts if you miss your chance to order one from the first batch.
Finally, many of you know that I work in partnership with Speedcubeshop.com to create custom puzzles sold on their store. I’ve spoken with Cameron already and we plan on not only bringing back the classic puzzles that you all know of, but also adding the version that was used to win NAC as well as a former WR average. This third version will be sold alongside the previous iterations of the cube.
I’m very excited to be producing more puzzles for you all! I had a lot of fun with it last year, and I can’t wait to get some more projects started again for the summer. If you have any questions about my work, please feel free to private message me. Thank you!
