E perm to H perm?

So sometimes ( about half the time ) when I do a E perm, instead of solving the cube, it brings me to a H perm. Why?

You are holding it in the wrong orientation. With the standard E perm you should have it so that your left and right corners have colors on the left and right sides respectively.

E perms can be done from 2 angles, not 4.

If you do it from here or here, you'll get a solved cube.

But if you do it from here or here, you'll get an H perm
