E-perm alignment

When doing a solve, I can recognize the E-perm fairly quickly, but what slows me down is trying to figure out which corners to swap with which so I can align it properly. Any tips on doing this?

if you did the white cross and you are doing the pll, I usually hold the pieces of same color on the right after rotating. So if two corners have green, hold both on right.

Could you explain that further? As far as I know there aren't any matching stickers on any face in an E-perm.
