Does the V-Cube 6 still suck?

Did they ever go through with this? Haven't heard anything since. Anyone know if the newer V6's are any better than older ones?

Since there is really no better alternative, I wouldn't say that they "suck" parsay. They still do have the click if that is what you are wondering. Will they release the unclicky version soon? Probably not. But everything about vcubes that is discussed on this forum is 99% speculation. Maybe PMing konstantinos?

I have to buy the screws for it because I was glueing the pins in and I glued the spring to the centerpiece. I thought "hey, might as well break it and make it adjustable since I have this cube4you core laying around and the screws should be easy to find."

I was wrong. They don't sell the screws anywhere, and the screws I got from eBay aren't for a Philips head or flathead, (socket head), so they are too tall so the center pieces can't fit. Anybody have a link or something to an auction where the screws will work?

That sounds like a better idea once I get the screws.

But will the mod still work if I make the cube adjustable? Do the screws turn with the cube or do they stay in place?
