Something most posters here overlook is natural ability. It doesn't matter how much I practice playing basketball I'm not the next Michael Jordan. Lars Petrus has been going at it since 1982 and he still isn't sub-20 avg. of 5, neither is Fridrich.

what? Fridrich averages (or averaged?) 17 seconds

Well, I said the cube and method... To be quick, you have to use a method your comfortable with, and same goes with a cube.

Hello...

I don't understand how you classify look ahead as a method. It's simply looking for the next step while you finish the current one.

I think most would disagree.

LOLFAIL. Practice is the most important part.

Oh my god! Why do you Just have to be so negative to my post for? I do no take this thread very seriously.

I always get negative comments to every thread or post i submit. Is this what this thread is for?

But to the others: Thank you very much for your tips! I appreciate them a lot.

The cube could help if you are using a peice of crap cube or a old worn down cube.I would also have to say just practice.....and for method any method is fast you just have to PRACTICE!!!!

cube type combined with practise, mostly practise. i got a new cube it only reduced my time by about 2 seconds (from avg 29 to avg 27). though it was probably less because i was practising on my new cube for a day before i saw any changes.

It's only because practice is by far the most important and you neglected to even include it. And if you're posting a thread on a serious topic, you should take it seriously.

Please do not try to start an online fight with me, alright?

I just want to be nice, to contribute to this forum.

If you had found any mistakes in my any of my threads/posts, then just correct me. but OBVIOUSLY not in a sarcastic manner.

This is why i hate this forum.

He was asking which, out of the cube you use and the method you use, is a more important factor for speed. I don't understand why everyone is yelling "PRACTICE" at him. That was not his question.

He said that he forgot to include practice, which he also thought "would be an option for some". I'm pretty sure that's why everyone said that.

Lets conclude this confrontation. CubeX, Practice, Yes the cube you use effects your times, and Yes the method significantly effects you're time.
