I'm looking to get my first smart cube to track my solves and see where I'm pausing / where I'm rotating too much, etc.

I was looking at the Gan i carry 2 which is a good price, but it doesn't have a gyroscope to track cube rotations. But from what I read other cubes with gyroscopes still don't track them accurately. So I ask you guys if it's worth getting the Gan I 3 or other cube with gyroscope if I want to track my rotations for solve recons.

I have a giiker 3 and I feel the data you get from it is sometimes lacking because it has no gyroscope.
If you have a cube with gyroscope, even if it doesn't work 100% perfectly, is still superior to a regular smart cube because it will have the same data PLUS the gyroscope data.

you could have all sort of different statistics with it and I would have one if I didn't have already buy a smart cube. (I used it a lot in the past but almost don't use it now)

If you want a smart cube to be your first, and you can get one with gyroscope, definitely go for it!
