PET stickers are far worse, I think. Also, cubesmith is vynl stickers, which is far better than pvc or pet.

Cubesmith is the best, in my opinion. If not, at least some sort of vinyl.
PET, in my opinion, are better than PVC, but that doesn't mean it's good.

Cubesmith Stickers are better! 
Oracle 651 Intermediate Cal Vinyl Stickers
They tend to chip off around the edges but that's usually after a lot of wear and tear. Although these chips are usually only around 2mm long so the majority of the stickers are still intact. This is far better than Rubik's Stickers peeling off IMO

From what I've heard, Cubesmith is better. In fact, I just ordered some yesterday.

i have all of them. havent used my cubesmith stickers jet. i like the way the rubiks stickers work. with the one from cube4you i have to put every sticker on by itself which takes some time. the good stickers from rubik´s are easy to put on all nine at once. it is not always perfect but ok for me. they chip off around the edges but i cut the parts off, so that there are little dents here and there but nothing that would influence the cubing
