[Official] Dennis Strehlau 10/10 MultiBLD Danish Cube Day

WOW!!

Just some facts:
In february 2008 he did 10/10 in 96 minutes.
In october 2008 he does 10/10 in 44 minutes.

I wonder how fast he'll be next june.
If he keeps up his pace, that'll be 10/10 in 20 minutes.

Actually, if he keeps up the pace it will be sub-0 minutes after 8 more months (linear) or almost 0 minutes (exponentially after 8^n months) :)
Drawing conclusions from 2 points of information is not really a good thing to do.

But I agree that the improvement is remarkable.
If you tell someone you can solve 10 cubes in 44 minutes he might be amazed
If you tell someone you can solve 10 cubes blindfolded in 44 minutes he will be amazed for sure
If you tell someone you can solve 10 cubes multiblindfolded in 44 minutes he will say that he has an uncle that can do that onehanded-behind-the-back-while-juggling-unicycles ;)

If that someone says all of that it means you're talking to Mike's nephew.
That's why I said uncle!
96 minutes with old pochmann.
44 minutes with M2.
1 obvious conclusion.

That 1 obvious conclusion has to be that you still don't realise that we were supposed to call it classic Pochmann

Or maybe obvious depends on the person reading :p

Ok so I guess it wasn't all that funny.

Still a long way to go, though, I'm looking forward to someone solving 10 in 20 minutes and 20 in an hour. Based on blindcubing results as well as memorization results I think those numbers are reasonable. Don't want to try to take away from Dennis' achievement, of course, which I admire a lot.

yes, I was waiting for the round of applause after, but there was none !

anyway, [applause]well done, that was truly awesome![/applause]

I didn't applaud because I was wearing a blindfold and strugling with solving 5 cubes multiBLD (I dnf'ed them all). Other people didn't applaud because they were respecting the other competitors.
