I know that the daYan GuHong (Lone Goose) color cube is illegal but the dayan guhong sticker is not. If I switch for competitions from color to sticker will it mess up my color recognition

I think that you forgot to put a "?"..

and Yes, I think that you must train only with your speedcube.

I doubt you'll be able to colour it without effecting the speed of the cube.
I think you'd be better off just getting a standard GuHong as well if that's an option.

Was that really necessary? Also, if you're going to correct someone elses grammar yours should be perfect and it is not. Never start a sentence with "and". Capitalize the first letter of each sentence. Always. Finally if you're going to add "..." at the end of your phrase make sure that all three are there and not just ".." as in your post.

To the OP. I'd say invest in a stickered cube. The only other idea I can come up with would be to dye your cube. I used to play lacrosse and some of the players would dye their plastic heads a different color. They used a hot glue gun to cover certain areas and form a pattern. You could do the same to the outward faces of your cubies. Dyeing a lacrosse head is quite a hassle because it slightly warps the head so you have to be careful with it cause it may warp your cubies.

It's definitely easier to just buy a stickered cube though.

''...'' doesn't always end a sentence.

And you CAN start with a sentence with 'and' if you do it properly. Your teachers tell you not to in grade 2, but I assume you have passed that grade level. Hopefully.
