[Unofficial] Daniël Hop (6 years old) Blindfold Solve

Is he talking himself through his memo at the beginning? It's almost like he's singing it, or maybe I just like listening to dutch. :-)

Yes, he is talking himself through. In the beginning he is recalling the colours of the corners, at the end he is saying the words and letters that represent the edges, like toba.

Ok, here's the translation;
01
I'm going to begin - I have begun

35
pick up red - put away red - white

100
now I only have to do these 2,
yellow is on this spot --- yeah yellow was here--- yeah here -- if it's right
Dad: alright then, when you are sure, but i can't see anything
yellow -white let's hope so

206
if it's right the corners must be in the right place
Dad; yes
That was a big guess, the yellow one
Dad: appearantly
I didn't know anymore where the yellow one was, but he was here, so

226
Happily it's even (he is referring to the total amount of edges, so no parity in this case )
And now I have realy begun and now let's hope that I do everything right

240
N-O-D-Y
Y has to change so up(m')-u-up-u-up-u2

320
T-O-B-A
T doesn't have to change

410
W-P-C-P

452
checking the letters (in case of a big edge clean up)

--end

ps this solve wasn't his first solve all alone, i gave him a little clue in the memo proces. A few days later we discoverd we always made a misstake doing the m-layer edges (UB edge - DB edge and UF edge, not with BU-BD-FU). We figured out how we had to deal with that and one week after this video Daniel did his first blindsolve without any help. Now his success ratio is slowly going up.
