Dallas Meetup?

On Saturday, August 15th, I'm going to try and meet up with a few cubers in the Dallas/Irving area.

I haven't chosen a venue because I'd simply be visiting... I'm travelling for work so I thought it would be cool to meet up with some people. I'm open to suggestions for a venue if anyone is interested in getting together and doing some cubing for a bit.

If anyone has ideas/suggestions or is interested, send me a PM and I'll update the thread to see who might be able to go and arrange a time and place

How long are you there? There are a lot of students starting classes in the area (several universities), like myself, around the 20th. I'm moving up there around that time for school and would love to attend.

I'm here now, and I'll be here until the 16th, but I fly on the 16th to Sumter, South Carolina, and I'll be there for a week.

Soo... Yeah - until the 16th basically from right now I'll be around somewhere in Dallas

I'm not IN Dallas, I'm about 30 mins away, but that depends on what part of town since it's such a large city.

Also we're pretty close in times, so in the even that I can meet up somewhere, it'll be interesting.

But yeah, like you said our times seem pretty close so I think it'd be fun - hopefully we can get a few people

And I'm actually in Irving, but my company gave me a rental so I can pretty much drive where ever (So if you want to meet closer to where you are, depending on how many more people we get, that's doable too)

And since most people probably don't know David (enigmahack), i wanted to say that he is also a really awesome guy. He spent the weekend at my place for TOS, and i had a blast hanging out with him. If i was in Dallas, i would definitely want to meet up with him.

I'm 27, I'm a technical trainer for Research In Motion (Makes BlackBerry Smartphones) and I travel all over the place lol

We'll see how many other people seem interested, but so far it's just you and I. Anyway, we'll figure out details over MSN, that's no biggie - I'm pretty flexible honestly.

Let's see how many other people we can get and we'll go from there.
