I'm curious if any cubers out there that have dyslexia find that it affects them at all. I have a friend who's dyslexic and cubes who's at ~40-45 sec, but I think that's because of lack of practice, not the dyslexia.

I know for me that if I'm in the wrong lighting and my brain isn't working well, things start moving where they shouldn't, but I'm definitely not dyslexic.

Not at all. At least not for me.

note that I'm almost unable to write my own langage (french) correctly, even if I do almost no grammar mistakes.

I have slight dyslexia i guess, the only thing i have problems with is scrambling fast after notations.
I always use spell check before posting anything on the internet! It's a great help.

Very interesting. I was actually wondering something on the same line of thinking. I am a very slow reader. I read about as the same speed I speak. I am stuck in the low 30s and can't seem to be improving my look ahead. Focusing on the next pair as I am solving one is only possible if I slow down to 1.3 or 1.4 tps. Any attempt to get faster seems fruitless, even after 100's of hours of trying.

Has anyone the same reading/lookahead similarities?

So you're stuck in the 1930's with reading disabilities? Remember, you have to slow down and look ahead into the next word, even if it slows you down. After that, like you said, you switch to looking at the next pair of words. Also, I think you mean wps, you hit the wrong key :) Reading for that long could also be a huge time slurp from what could be used to train lookahead on the cube.

But really, go slow, look for another available corner that will be used in f2l and track it, that's what I do.

Colorblind Dyslexia would be hell, you couldn't even read the colorblind stickers. Super Cubes could also be a problem. I don't see how it could affect solid colors though.
