Cubing clubs

[be_the_truffle]

I couldn't really figure out which forum to use, so I guess I picked this one. I have noticed that a lot of kids at my school are into cubing. Quite a few are devoted to it. I am thinking of starting a cubing club.

I guess the question is how many of you have or have heard of cubing clubs in [your] school? What would it take? What are good fundraisers and club activities?

Thanks.

your need a teacher who is willing to do it. Make sure they're a really passe about everything. Fundraisers: anything you can think of, selling candy, magazine subscriptions(soooooo easy) etc. Take the club to closeby competitions. etc.

you're lucky that you know of kids that cube in your school, it was really popular in my high school 2 years ago when i was in 10th grade, now its just about extinct from my school havent seen any since ...... i guess it was so common back then because dan cohen was at our school

I founded mine ... it's not official but it doesn't need to be. I give lessons now and again ... bleh. It's more just the people who can solve cubes meet in library at lunch

I would join a cubing club if there was one in my school...there are only a couple people that cube in my school but i don't think that they would want to join a club that's about cubing.

My school has a cubing club started by me. It has around 7-8 members
