Cube4you type A help?

I recently purchased a type A (not sure which model), and am very frustrated. No matter what tension I set it to, the cube is very rough in turning, and locks up alot. there are these arcs that go along the insides of the pieces that form a circle when put together. I was wondering if sanding these down would help. thanks.

Please identify the model of Type A you have according to this thread:

Judging by your description you most likely have a Type A II.

by looking at the guide, I can see that I have a type A III (not the new model).

Unfortunately, that's one of the worst cubes out there. The edge pieces break easily. The cube has little resistance to lockups and pops. Sorry.

You can try optimizing it again and if that still doesn't work, you can use it for hybrids I guess.

wow I sure am lucky... oh well, I guess I'll use it for blindfold solves.
