There's a lot of room for improvement in megaminx hardware. I'm looking forward to seeing this and other new megaminxes.
In cubes the 3-piece corner design is better than 4-piece for magnetizing, but the angles are such in megaminx that it doesn't make as much difference. I have Dayan, Yuxin, and Qiyi megaminxes that I'd like to magnetize, but the only one that I think I've figured out how is the Qiyi, and that won't get magnets in the corners, just edges and centers. I'll be getting the magnets this afternoon. Watch the magnets thread and the buy, sell, trade forum for updates.
E: the Yuxin megaminx has the 3-piece corner design, and I'm not sure it's possible to magnetize without doing the drilling-out trick that theCubicle uses. Looking at the picture of the Cong's design megaminx it really looks very similar to the yuxin, maybe with some elements of the Yuhu.
