Clock magnets feel weaker after lubing.

I have a Qiyi clock and I just lubed the inner rings of the dials with Martian. It’s way smoother now but the 6:00 half of the white side seems to have way less magnetic click then the rest of the puzzle. I’m guessing I just put too much lube in that area?

He put very little lube on the rings.
