For Clock, Learn both edge skips, be able to solve at 3, 6, and 9, and make sure you use the QiYi. Other than that it is just practice. 7-Simul is really only necessary if you want to be Sub-7 and beyond, but if you want to learn it you can.

For Pyraminx, @JDAW6 is right. There is no getting around L4E if you want Sub-4, unless if you want to learn 1-Flip, but if you are too lazy to learn L4E then you shouldn't even consider this. You can incorporate blockbuilding into your first layer, and be color neutral, but that is all you can really do to improve. I would also recommend solving all tips in the beginning, although that takes a bit of practice.

L4E isn't that hard, and intuitive L4E has no algs. It is just a bit of practice to get good at blockbuilding.

Intuitive L4E is very easy to learn, and can help you a lot as long as you do slow solves and use inspection wisely. For clock, just spamming solves can get you easily sub 10. Learning to solve from 12 at different angles can help ergonomics. Use x2 flips. Once you get sub 9, learn a pin order and watch lucky case example solves

This is great to know since im also tryna get good at clock
Just learn 7s at around sub 8,also dont watch the cubicles video about tommy learning to tymon, its Bpaul 7s flip, which is one of the baddesr variants, and siccess rate with bpaul is also pretty low. Just learn tommy, and i know the last 2 ateps arent that easy, but once you learned it its very easy, improving with memo is just keep solving.

Also with flip, try to inspect the whole first cross and use this pin order:

DR (match C to U)
UR (Make an L shape with C, U and L)
UL (match the L shape to R)
U (Make the whole cross)
Corners: doesnt matter, i do dl ur dr ul.

Also do an X2, its faster than a y2.

for corners shouldn't you solve them diagonally so that you can solve both of them at the same time if they're pointing in the same direction.
